The Helical Surface Creeper has been designed specifically for floater and surface work where finesse, control and line management are everything. At 11ft it offers extra reach compared to the 10ft carp rods while still feeling quick and precise enough to place controllers and freelined baits exactly where you want them. The blank uses the same Helical carbon philosophy as the rest of the range so it remains slim, light and responsive, with a forgiving tip to cushion those explosive surface takes.
The abbreviated handle build keeps things neat and unobtrusive, with a DPS18 seat, black hoods, Acetal butt cap and collars and black stainless guides for a crisp, direct feel. It balances perfectly with modern lightweight reels and is just as comfortable flicking baits around at close quarters as it is reaching out to cruising fish at medium range.

Builds
Our standard stock build is a modern full EVA black build, designed to keep the rods light, crisp and perfectly balanced for stalking, margin and surface fishing. This includes black Acetal collars and butt cap, black reel seat hoods, a matching Clone reel seat, matt black framed guides and an anti-frap tip ring. As with other Free Spirit rods, these can also be custom built with other handle options, alternative fittings and other changes to suit individual tastes, giving anglers the option to create a more traditional or personalised finish where required.
