Built from the very same Low Resin 40t Japanese Carbon used on the rest of the Hi-‘S’ rods and with full 1k weave and ‘Perdurable’ blank finish these rods are extremely light and well balanced, yet strong and with very responsive tips to aid casting with light set-ups.
All Hi-‘S’ surface and stalking rods are built with full cork handles as standard with the Clone 1k seat and stainless steel collars but as with all Hi-‘S’ rods these can be made to your individual requirement.
The Hi-‘S’ Surface Creeper is 11’ with a soft tip for punching small controllers to feeding fish or for free-lining but power further down to master hard fighting carp. This power also makes the rod capable of casting controllers of 40g to 50g up to 80 yards or so.
The Hi-‘S’ Tree Creeper is 6’ one piece and designed for those really hard to get places. It really is for hit and hold fishing where no quarter can be given. The rod has an effective test curve of 3lb but being only 6’ long has a tremendous amount of leverage and power.
The Hi-‘S’ Bank Creeper is available in 10’ 2¾lb and 10’ 3¼lb – the latter often being called the Boat Carp which has an abbreviated handle build as standard. These rods don’t now come with these names on the blank but can be built as customs if you wish them to.

Blank and rod weights may vary slightly from those quoted. We use stainless steel collars and butt caps for durability which will add a little to the rod’s overall weight but being on the handle should not adversely affect its balance.
